Running Start is a co-ed exercise program for all age groups that incorporates the proper technique of warm-up, stretching, calisthenics, and aerobic exercise tailored to your personal needs. The classes, which include walkers, joggers, and runners, allow everyone, from the lowest level beginners to serious runners, to increase or maintain their fitness level in their own way. In addition, we offer a swim program that combines water exercises with time for free swimming. Sponsored by Mid Coast Hospital, the program is directed by an exercise physiologist who has a master's degree in adult fitness. A cardiac nurse is present at the 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Fitness Class, offering support and nursing assistance. |

8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Bowdoin College 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Coffin School Gym
Summer classes are held outside at Whittier Field. If rain, classes are held at Morrell Gym. Classes may be interchanged at any time.
