Charges
for your care
Generally,
all your financial arrangements are made during admission.
Your
hospital bill. Your bill from the hospital covers
a room charge, professional nursing care, bedside meals,
permanent medical records services, and support services
such as housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and the business
office.
Separate
items for tests and medications. The bill will show
separate charges for lab tests, imaging such as x-rays,
and medications ordered by your doctor.
Physician
billing. Your physician and consulting physicians
bill separately for their services. Payments for for their
services are made directly to them--not to the hospital.
