symbols, spaces, and surroundings that join body and spirit,
science and healing.

beauty into public spaces and patient rooms.
Artist Tile Painting Project
2000 and 2001, students in 16 area schools participated in a
special project hand painting ceramic tiles. These young artists
were asked to paint a message of their choosing for the patients,
families and staff of the new Mid Coast Hospital.
