CHANS Home Health & Hospice honored more than 50 volunteers at a celebration on April 5 at the Brunswick Hotel & Tavern. The event highlighted the outstanding work of the Hospice Volunteers and recognized several individuals for their extraordinary efforts.

"We are so grateful for the dedication and commitment of the CHANS hospice volunteers,” said Carl Demars, MD, CHANS Home Health & Hospice Medical Director. "Their efforts enhance the healthcare services that we provide, offering personalized support and compassion as families navigate the end-of-life process. They truly are an essential part of the CHANS Hospice Care team, helping us to provide an all inclusive and seamless approach that offers peace of mind, comfort, and healing to patients and families.”

CHANS Home Health & Hospice provides care and comfort during the final six months of an individual’s life. Personalized care plans allow the individual to remain at home while receiving professional, medically based support and comfort care inline with the his or her needs and wishes.
