Control Nurses
Certified in Infection Control, Lorna MacKinnon,
RN, Mid Coast Hospital's nurse epidemiologist,
works closely with nurses and physicians
to prevent the start and spread of infectious
disease in the hospital environment.
She serves as a resource for patients,
family, staff and the community, and is
a liaison for the hospital with public health
and disease control agencies on the local,
state and national levels. |
