14. Your doctors will visit you and your parents. The doctor will ask some questions to know more about you and show you some of the equipment we may be using. The doctor is showing how a face mask is used. You can also ask questions about anything you might want to know more about too. The operating room nurse will also come to your room to meet you.

15. Special soft pads are put onto your bed to make it soft and cozy for you.

16. The doctor and nurses will let you either walk to the OR or give you a ride there on your bed. Since your bed has wheels it is easy to give you a ride!

17. This is a special room called the “operating room.” that your doctor and nurses will use to take care of you. You can bring one of your favorite stuffed toys along to keep you company. There are a lot of machines in the operating room. The doctors and nurses will ask you to show them how strong your lungs are by blowing up the special green balloon shown in the picture.
