Evaluation and Treatment
Plan
Your physical therapist
will conduct a comprehensive evaluation and work
with you to establish an individualized
plan of care based on your needs and goals.
Care and Management
Education –
Anatomy/function of affected muscles, common problems
associated with recovery, goals of exercise and home programs, activities to
avoid, dietary modifications, bladder training, and positioning/postures.
Therapeutic Exercise – Individually designed program appropriate
for your medical condition and activity allowed.
Home Program – Instruction in self-management, individualized
exercises, relaxation/breathing techniques and guidance in the use of home
modalities.
Modalities –
May include massage, electrical stimulation, biofeedback,
or
vaginal weights. |
