Benjamin A. Lowenstein, MD, joins Mid Coast Cardiology

A Bates College graduate, Dr. Lowenstein received his MD from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, VT. He completed his residency and fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME.

Before coming to Mid Coast, Dr. Lowenstein was a member of a private cardiology practice in the York-Portsmouth area for 7 years. He lives in Yarmouth with his family.

Dr. Lowenstein is board certified in Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, and Cardiovascular Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

The physicians of Mid Coast Cardiology have provided compassionate, quality care to the Mid Coast community for more than 20 years. Dr. Lowenstein joins Paul R. Burns, MD; Scott D. Mills, MD; R. Scott Schafer, MD; and Ev Simon, MD.

Mid Coast Cardiology offers nationally accredited nuclear medicine and echocardiography testing, cardiac catheterization, and 24/7 on-site coverage for all cardiac patients brought to Mid Coast Hospital's Emergency Department. They also offer rehabilitation through Mid Coast Hospital's RunningStart cardiac program.
