Mid Coast Center for Joint Replacement provides the latest in rehabilitative equipment and services with an onsite physical and occupational therapy suite located on the same unit as our orthopedic surgical patients.
The conveniently located therapy suite and onsite rehabilitation team, offer the following benefits to our joint replacement patients:
- Access to high quality rehabilitative therapies with minimal time spent transporting to and from their room
- Minimized chance of infection, as patients do not have to leave the unit to obtain services
- Coordinated care with nurses and doctors having immediate access to rehabilitative staff
- Some occupational and physical therapy services can take place in the patient’s private room.
Our rehabilitative services staff is committed to providing high quality, patient centered care, with the goal of helping patients return home and resume normal activities as quickly as possible.
