Mid Coast–Parkview Health, MaineHealth Merger Gets Final Go Ahead
Representatives from Mid Coast–Parkview Health and MaineHealth received final clearance to move forward with the planned merger of the two healthcare organizations. Mid Coast–Parkview Health will join MaineHealth as a member on March 1, 2020 and will work toward full integration over the next several months as operations become unified.

Constance Jones has been appointed the new Senior Director of Development for Mid Coast–Parkview Health. In this role, she will lead the planning, implementation, and administration of all Development activities, including fundraising appeals, endowment campaigns, gift planning, grateful patient donations, and donor appreciation events.

More than 250 Corporators, board members, medical staff, auxilians, and community leaders joined together at the Mid Coast–Parkview Health Annual Meeting held at Bowdoin College on January 9. At the meeting, the Corporators unanimously voted to approve a full integration with MaineHealth, following regulatory clearances.

Mid Coast Hospital Celebrates Successful 26th Annual Golf Tournament
Mid Coast Hospital’s 26th Annual Golf Fore! Health Classic on September 10 was a great success. The golf classic raised $57,160 for the Mid Coast Center for Community Health and Wellness, one of the highest fundraising totals in the tournament’s nearly three-decade history.
