Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) is a type of therapy designed to increase the speaking volume of people with Parkinson’s disease.
The same principles are applied to limb movement during the LSVT BIG component, resulting in improved walking speed, mobility, posture, balance, and quality of life.
The program focuses on improving amplitude, not speed, a key differentiator for Parkinson’s disease.
