  • Addresses key education including common problems, activities to avoid, goals, dietary modifications, bladder training, and postures.
  • Consists of individually designed program appropriate for each person’s condition and activity allowance.
  • Connects with home program including self-management, exercise, relaxation and breathing techniques, and guidance on use of home modalities.
  • May significantly decrease personal spending on hygiene supplies

Women's Health

Mid Coast Hospital Rehabilitation offers treatment and health solutions to promote women’s independence.

This includes young female athletes as well as childbearing, menopausal, and elderly women.

Treated conditions include osteoporosis, pelvic floor dysfunction, prenatal and postpartum pain, rehabilitation following breast surgery, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, urinary and fecal incontinence, and weakness following OB/GYN surgical procedures.
