This is a suggested pattern. You may use your own pattern.
- Size #4 or #5 double pointed needles
- Pink or blue baby or sport weight yarn
- Cast on 72 stitches (24 each needles)
- Knit every row for 45 rows (5 inches or more)
Decrease as follows:

- To finish off: Cut yarn leaving 6 or more inches. Pull through remaining stitches and knot. Use remaining yarn at crochet loop on top of cap.
- You may vary as you wish-like inserting hearts, animals, boats, etc. into the design.
- Caps may also be crocheted.
