Healthy Cooking with Fresh Produce
It is important to eat fresh produce in order to maintain a healthy, balanced diet. While shopping at the store, wipe down cart handles. Wear a cloth mask the entire time you shop, follow aisle directional arrows (if applicable), and maintain social distance of six feet whenever possible.
At home, wash purchased produce thoroughly using a scrub brush and a small amount of soap, being gentle on softer produce. Soap is an effective, safe way to remove coronavirus from surfaces including fresh vegetables and fruits.
